If you are interested in attending one of these workshops call GEMS ADHD and Autism Services East Berkshire on 01753 373 224 / 0800 999 1342 or book directly through the GEMS website

Supporting Siblings

What is it like to grow up with a sibling on the spectrum? How can we help young people to better understand and thrive in an autism friendly family?

Suitable for anyone living or caring for someone with autism, whether newly diagnosed, facing new life stage challenges or simply wanting to refresh their knowledge and understanding.

We are currently offering a range of virtual workshops via Zoom. See our calendar for dates and times.

Book in to one of our 90 minute virtual “TAG talks” aimed at giving parents a little insight into how autism might affect their young person – and some simple strategies to help support their needs. Sessions focus on specific topics. Time is allowed for an interactive Q & A session at the end.

To book contact GEMS ADHD and Autism Services East Berkshire on 01753 373 224 / 0800 999 1342

Our Face-to-Face workshops last two hours including time for meeting the TAG staff and other parents informally over a cuppa in the break.

These sessions are open to parents and carers across East Berkshire of young people who either have a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition, or have been referred for assessment. These are currently unavailable.

If you are a community group looking for autism awareness training, we provide up to four FREE talks a year. Contact Tanya at tanya@theautismgroup.org.uk to discuss your requirements.

This service was commissioned by the Frimley NHS.
