Girls and Autism
A look at how autism affects girls and young women, why it can be difficult to diagnose and how best to support the unique patterns of behaviours of females on the spectrum.
Suitable for anyone living or caring for someone with autism, whether newly diagnosed, facing new life stage challenges or simply wanting to refresh their knowledge and understanding.

Adolescence
Understanding and responding to the changes and challenges of parenting and caring for teens on the spectrum.
Suitable for parents and carers of young people aged ten upwards.

Managing Anxiety
What to do when worries take over. We take a look at what causes anxiety and some tried and tested strategies to tackle it.
Suitable for anyone living or caring for someone with autism, whether newly diagnosed, facing new life stage challenges or simply wanting to refresh their knowledge and understanding.

Supporting Siblings
What is it like to grow up with a sibling on the spectrum? How can we help young people to better understand and thrive in an autism friendly family?

We are currently offering a range of virtual workshops via Zoom. See our calendar for dates and times.
Book in to one of our 90 minute virtual “TAG talks” aimed at giving parents a little insight into how autism might affect their young person – and some simple strategies to help support their needs. Sessions focus on specific topics. Time is allowed for an interactive Q & A session at the end.

These sessions are open to parents and carers across East Berkshire of young people who either have a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition, or have been referred for assessment. These are currently unavailable.
