Autism Training

The Autism Group is passionate about providing practical, accessible, affordable – and where possible free – autism training for people parenting, living, caring and working with those on the autistic spectrum across the East Berkshire area.

We are now offering a mix of face to face and on-line training.

Book in to one of our 90 minute online “TAG talks” aimed at giving parents a little insight into how autism might affect their young person – and some simple strategies to help support their needs or attend one of our longer face to face sessions held locally. Sessions focus on specific topics including managing emotions, sensory differences and supporting siblings. They include an interactive Q and A session.

Thurs 12th Nov – High Alert – When Anxiety Strikes – Bracknell – Morning

Thurs 3rd Dec – What about me? Supporting Siblings – Burnham – Evening

Thurs 7th Jan – Adolescence – 10am to 11.30 – on-line

Thurs 11th Feb – What about me? Supporting Siblings – Bracknell – Morning

Thurs 11th March – Girls and Autism – Burnham -Morning

These sessions are open to parents and carers across East Berkshire of young people who either have a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition, or have been referred for assessment. To book contact Becky at  admin@theautismgroup.org.uk
