Parent Workshop -Girls on the spectrum – Face-to-Face
October 14 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pmFree
Our parent workshops are aimed at giving parents a little insight into how autism might affect their young person – and some simple strategies to help support their needs. Here we take a look at how autism affects girls and young women, why it can be difficult to diagnose and how best to support the unique pattern of behaviours of females on the spectrum. Suitable for parents and carers of primary and secondary school aged girls and young women.
Our Face-to-Face sessions last two hours but there is an additional and optional half hour thereafter for meeting the TAG staff and other parents informally over a cuppa.
